Warner Hall’s Chocolate Whiskey Cake? Need we say more?

Chocolate Whiskey Cake

What You’ll Need

1 ¼ Cup AP flour

1 teaspoon Baking soda

10 ½ ounces Chocolate

12 T. Butter

1 ¼ Cup Sugar

4 each Eggs

1/3 Cup Whiskey

1 T. Vanilla

What You’ll Do

Preheat oven to 350 degress.

Melt chocolate.

Cream butter in a mixer with a paddle.

Add sugar to the butter and cream again.

Add eggs one at a time until incorporated.

Add whiskey and vanilla.

Add the melted chocolate.

Add flour & baking soda.

Pour into a 9 inch spring form pan prepared with nonstick spray & parchment on the bottom.

Bake for 1 hour.

Test for doneness and remove from the oven.

Let sit for 5 minutes.

Invert it onto a rack or cardboard round & remove the pan.

Cool completely.
