Guests will delight in breathtaking  views of the Severn River and the estate’s gardens, pastures and wildlife while comfortably  ensconced in one of the River Porches wicker rockers or club chairs.

If the weather turns cool, why not borrow a book from the Drawing Room and curl up next to one of the Inn’s nine working fireplaces? The West Wing Library, located in the oldest section of the inn, provides a quiet respite and an amazing opportunity to see one of the oldest colonial fireplaces in Virginia.

After a relaxing day enjoying the plantation's grounds and waterfront, savor the pleasures of fine dining. Our five course chef's tasting menus, served on Friday and Saturday nights, have received rave reviews. ENJOY!
